30 Beauty Questions Tag
1) Do you remember you first makeup item?
Other than Chapstick, probably eyeshadow. I do remember getting a cheap makeup palette for my birthday one year which had eyeshadows, eyeliners, blushes and lipsticks.
2) Describe your favorite mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
Lengthening, thickening, holds the curl and very dark. I recently rediscovered Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara and I really love it.
3) What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
My main criteria for a good foundation are: lightweight, full coverage, dewy and with yellow undertone.
4) Favorite high–end brand?
Nars, Benefit, are some of my favorites but I tend to like specific products more than the brand itself.
5) What cosmetic brands you have always wanted to try but still haven’t?
At some point I want to try MAC, Chanel, and maybe other brands of higher-end brands.
6) Favorite drugstore brand?
L'ORÉAL, Revlon, Rimmel, are some of my go to ones but I also like some of Covergirl and Maybelline products.
7) Do you wear fake eyelashes?
No, I think they are a pain in the ass xD.
8) Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?
If I had to go out the door with only one makeup item, it would be chapstick.
9) What is your most cherished beauty product?
My life saver at the moment is Absolut Repair Instant Resurfacing Masque - L'ORÉAL Professionnel (32,99$). I just bought my second jar and I can't live without it. (Review here)
10) How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
It depends, sometimes I go shopping for cosmetics when I need it and sometimes I just randomly pick new stuff to try at Sephora's or Jean Coutu.
11) Do you have a “beauty budget” or you spend freely?
Freely, but I still tend to watch how much I spend for my stuff whether it's makeup or clothes because I don't make a lot of money.
12) Do you utilize coupons, reward cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Other than my Beauty Insider Card from Sephora, not really.
13) What type of product do you buy the most of?
Hair and Skincare products because I use them daily and run out of them more quickly.
14) Is there a brand that you absolutely can’t stand?
No brand comes to mind at the moment.
15) Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
Ye,s I try to choose products without harmful chemicals when I can.
16) Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
Sephora (for high-end) , Jean Coutu (for drugstore) are the two places I buy must of my makeup
17) Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I like to change things up but when I find something that works for me I keep it in my beauty regiment. (ex: PETER THOMAS ROTH FIRMx™ Peeling Gel - Sephora (60,00$)
18) Favorite bath and body brand?
I used to like Bliss FatGirl line but I haven't used it in a while.
19) If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
I think I would try products from the Sephora's brand.
20) What brand do you think has the best packaging?
Benefit products packaging always look very cool in my opinion.
21) Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Emma Watson and Jessica Alba always look flawless and I really like supermodel Doutzen Kroes. She actually looks like an angel !!!
22) Do you belong to any online makeup communities?
Not at the moment but I think I should =O.
23) 5 favorite beauty gurus?
I don't think I have a top three, I'm not that into beauty videos on Youtube. My favorite Youtuber that do actually do beauty videos Claire Marshall, Bubzbeauty and Kandee Johnson but I watch them for their great styles and personalities more than for their beauty tutorials. I also really enjoy their vlogs because overall they're just very nice people.
24) Do you like multifunctional products like cheek and lip stains?
Yes but I don't use them that much.
25) Are you clumsy in putting makeup?
Mostly with mascara, I can get really frustrating at time..
26) Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
27) How many hair products do you use on a typical day?
Two, they are mostly products for dry and damaged hair.
28) What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
It depends if I have a bad skin day. If I have more blemishes, I will put concealer on them first but other than that I put foundation first and just conceal the under eye/nose area.
29) Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Yes, I think it would be very useful and probably super interesting. Since I don't have a job at the moment, I may take classes soon.
30) What do you love about makeup?
I love that I can play and experiment with it to create different looks. It makes me feel beautiful and confident when I go out and even if I don't wear it everyday any more, it's one of my many passions.
